Senior Accountant - Blum (Bucharest)



Our client, the Blum company has a tradition of 64 years and is a leader in global production systems and fittings for furniture industry.

Job description:
Senior accountant company is responsible for ensuring compliance regarding financial responsibilities and legal and accounting aspects of the company's operations.

Targets:
·         Proper handling of all accounting tasks according to local accounting standards including all relevant tax returns (to guarantee the formal requirements);
·         Processing the payroll including all relevant/associated statements;
·         Preparation of monthly Management Reports and Annual Financial Statements according to the local regulations as well as group requirements;
·         Qualified discussion partner within the Blum group in questions of international accounting and tax matters and its conversion;
·         Discharge/support of the Managing Director in administrative (and organisational) areas;
·         Ensuring the compliance with group and BXX-guidelines;
·         Support in all commercial areas as well as “sparring partner” in the sense of cost-effectiveness considerations;
·         Contribution to optimized management and control of BXX (budgeting, prompt reporting, analysis, comments and advice of measures);
·         Ongoing efforts to optimize cost, profit and financial resources;
·         Ensuring Company Law procedures according to Legislation and Articles of Association;
·         Professional coordination and realisation of questions of law (terms and conditions of trade, contracts, warranty declarations, etc.);
·         Main tasks: Accounting & Taxes, Reporting, Budget, Analysis, Credit Management, Bank Business, Supplier/Vendor Management, Payroll and Payroll, Accounting, Insurance, Inventory Management, Additional duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:
·         Specialized studies in economics;
·         Professionally experienced personality (appropriately educated and practical; experience in local accounting principles, tax and labour law);
·         Basic knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS);
·         Basis knowledge of consolidation requirements is of advantage;
·         Computer Know How (MS-Office);
·         A least 5 years experience (international experience is of advantage);
·         General understanding of laws which affect the areas of work;
·         Knowledge of English Language – advanced level;
·         Knowledge of Project Management.
